Weldon St. was birthed by a small group of students from Seminole State College, starting with small gigs around the school, eventually growing to take on recurring gigs in Historic Sanford, and expanding their footprint to the greater Orlando area. The band has further grown into a six piece Jazz Fusion group focusing on performing diversified music, while trying to push the boundaries of the genre.
Brian Villane is currently studying percussion performance at Rollins College, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music in the Hamilton Holt School. Before Rollins Brian attended Seminole State College of Florida, Where he pursued an Associates or Arts in Music.
In addition to studying in academia, Brian has worked as a music educator at; University High School Orange City, East River High School, West Orange High School, and Viera High School. At these schools Brian works as a percussion specialist for marching and concert percussion, as well as providing private instruction. Brian has also taken a position at Lake Highland Preparatory School, where he helps direct the percussion and jazz programs at the school.
In Weldon Street Brian plays Vibraphone, but
outside of Jazz, Brian is a percussionist with the Villages Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra, where he plays on a number of their regular season concerts. Brian also performs with a number of theaters, primarily Theater West End, where he is the percussionist in residence and performs on all of their Mainstage productions.
Andre Agac-ac is currently working on his Bachelor’s of Music at Rollins College, focusing on saxophone performance in the Hamilton Holt School and is currently under the studio of Scott Devlin. Prior to Rollins College, Andre spent three years at Seminole State College where he studied under Dan Ferri and was later awarded his Associates of Arts in Music.
Outside of academics, Andre has collaborated with a number of groups such as Jazz Ambassadors at Seminole State College, SoleExpression, Those Guys Band, and Weldon Street. He has also performed at Immerse Arts Festival, Winter Springs Festival of the Arts, Sanford Annual Jazz Festival, and Lakeside Jazz Festival. Alongside performing, Andre holds his own private studio where he is able to teach both classical and jazz saxophone.
Within Weldon Street’s big band and combo, Andre primarily plays Tenor Saxophone however it is not unusual for him to pick up other various saxophones or woodwinds. He is also noted as a founding member of the band.

Joseph Dumm is a current student at Rollins College through the Hamilton Holt School pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music, focusing on trombone performance while studying with Jeff Thomas, Principal trombone with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. Prior to Rollins, Joseph obtained his Associate of Arts in Music from Seminole State College of Florida, studying with Major Bailey, former bass trombone of the U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors. At Rollins, he is a member of the orchestra, wind ensemble, jazz ensemble and jazz combo. Outside of academia, he has performed with the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra and is an active member of the CrossLife Worship orchestra. In addition to performance studies, Joseph has taken interest in recording technology and production. He hopes to work in the recording industry after graduating from Rollins College in addition to playing trombone.

Rob Weisenbarger is a percussionist from Orlando, Fl. Well versed in many genres, Rob is an
active member of The Grizzly Atoms, Saucers over Washington, and Honeypot. Apart from
performing, he is also the Percussion Director at Lake High Preparatory School specializing in
marching and orchestral percussion as well as a percussion arranger for many schools in Orange,
Lake, and Volusia counties. Aside from being the percussionist in Weldon Street, he is also one
of the main arrangers for the group.
Rob is a recent graduate of Rollins College, gaining a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Hamilton
Holt School under the guidance of Dan Johnson, while also taking arrangement and jazz studies under Chuck Archard. Rob plans to pursue post graduate studies in the near future.
Originally from Jacksonville Florida, Cathy Halsell is a graduate of Rollins College who completed her studies in vocal performance and education. While attending Rollins, she performed with the group Rollins Singers, Women’s Vocal Jazz, and the Jazz Ensemble. Outside of Rollins she has participated in recording projects with Full Sail University and members of Voctave vocal jazz group. In addition, Cathy is involved in bringing arts to her local community; she was the artistic director for the child’s choir performing at the annual Festival of Trees held at the Orlando Science Museum during the 2018 holiday season, and performs with her private students at the annual Winter Park Christmas parade.
Cathy currently resides in Orlando where she teaches private lessons at Winter Park Music Academy and as an assistant for the choir at Lake Highland Preparatory school. Throughout her degree, Cathy has prioritized teaching music to children by volunteering at lower income schools such as Fern-Creek Elementary and two internships at Lakeview Middle and Doctor Phillips high school. Cathy will continue her own education by pursuing a master’s degree in music education while continuing to teach in public and private schools.
